Ms. Thomas’ practice has an emphasis in the areas of insurance defense, commercial litigation, professional liability, environmental and toxic tort litigation, and products liability. She has represented individuals and companies in these matters in state and federal courts throughout the State of Louisiana. She also enjoys a transactional practice, specializing in commercial and real estate transactions. Ms. Thomas also has a domestic practice, wherein she represents persons with matters related to divorce, spousal support, child support, child custody, and community property issues. Ms. Thomas maintains a succession practice where she represents executors of estates. In addition, she prepares wills, powers of attorney and living wills.

Ms. Thomas is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association. She is past vice president for the Association of Women Attorneys - New Orleans. In addition, Ms. Thomas is founder of the Russian Orphans Relief Foundation.

Ms. Thomas earned her Juris Doctorate degree in May 2000 from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans where she was actively involved in numerous student organizations, including the Student Bar Association, Delta Theta Phi, the Maritime Law Society and the Federalist Society. Prior to attending Loyola University School of Law, Ms. Thomas graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Political Science from William Carey College.

She is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District, Middle District and Western District of Louisiana, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
