Gevin Grisbaum's practice has a primary emphasis on civil litigation, including products liability, environmental, admiralty, and insurance matters. He has represented Fortune 500 companies and insurers in a broad range of casualty and insurance litigation including medical and hospital malpractice, automobile accidents, premises and products liability, property damage, fire damage, civil rights, municipal law, admiralty, occupational lung disease, environmental and Toxic Tort law, state and federal workers compensation litigation, and insurance coverage. He has also represented plaintiff personal injury claims and criminal defendants – Federal and State.
Before coming to SPD Gevin served as an Assistant District Attorney in Jefferson Parish in the Felony Trials Division. He has extensive courtroom experience, trying hundreds of judge and jury trials and countless hearings. He has prosecuted complex computer and white collar crimes as well as high level narcotics distribution cases, murders, kidnappings, armed robberies and rapes.
He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Eastern, Middle, and Western District Courts of Louisiana, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and all Louisiana Courts.
