Kelly Pendergrass Dees’ primary practice is in insurance defense and general civil litigation. She has significant experience in medical malpractice actions, corporate defense, and also actively practices in the area of domestic relations, as well as wills and estates.

Mrs. Dees was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and has continued to be a life long resident of Jackson County. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice, while graduating with Highest Honors.

She received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2001, graduating Cum Laude. While in law school, Mrs. Dees served as a member of the Moot Court Board, Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law.

She is currently a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Jackson County Bar, The Jackson County Bar Association, the Harrison County Bar Association, The Mississippi Bar and the American Bar Association. She has served as former Secretary and Vice-President of her local bar association.

Kelly is an active member of her community serving as the Gautier Mock Trial Team Advisor and serving as a member of the Junior Auxiliary’s Pascagoula-Moss Point Chapter.

She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts of Mississippi, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
